Recognition Day
SHS virtual recognition - First semester sy. 2020-2021
"There is nothing more overwhelming than being told you're appreciated"
One sunny day (Thursday) January 14, 2021 at 10 o'clock in the morning, a virtual recognition day was held by Academia de Pulilan via Facebook live wherein all students of different strands in senior high school department which referred to as Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), Administration and Business Management (ABM), General Academic Strand (GAS), Humanities and Social Science (HUMSS) and Technical Vocational Livelihood: Information Communication and Technology (ICT)/ Home Economics (H.E.), eagerly looked forward to it.
The program has started with a video presentation featuring various school components such as library room, school office, school hall, science laboratory, computer laboratory, school canteen, the presence of faculty members and students. Followed by the rendition of school hymn and national anthem and opening prayer. The ceremony was led by Ms. Maya Manuel III.
We have Mikaela Sophia B. Cudal from grade 11 STEM-A and Ismhael M. Mapiles from grade 12 HUMSS-B who got the spot of being top among their corresponding year level. In addition, many students have received an award which indicate despite pandemic, we could still see their willingness to learn even from home. Furthermore, academians are consistent and strong enough to withstand and show great determination and effort in their education.
It was about 11:40am when the ceremony has ended. The whole program went successfully and right after that, the students as well as the teachers had prepared for their synchronous classes in the afternoon.
One way to have an excellent journey is to run with fair strategy in dealing miscellaneous circumstances in life and it is important to know that recognition is not only about medals, certificates or trophies you would obtain. But it is also meant to be as your greatest acknowledgement that is worthy of value.
